Announcing a Partnership with Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center

We are pleased to announce this new partnership as the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center which offers social activities, nutrition & educational programs, community outreach, and health & wellness classes to seniors in far north central San Antonio and southern Comal county. In addition, the Meals on Wheels Program operates out of this center and through mid year 2020 they have provided 5833 meals to seniors in need. This new partnership will allow us the opportunity to ride along with the Meals on Wheels volunteers and make new connections with homebound seniors. This partnership will provide us ample opportunities to involve the Project 10:27 volunteer base in work days and other efforts to directly benefit those seniors who are in need.

We are thankful for the wonderful volunteers pictured above and below who helped us share love with a senior adult couple by cleaning up their front and back yard. They even found a job for me.

America’s Seniors Need Help

Millions of seniors are left behind, hungry and alone. Loneliness and social isolation are creating a silent pandemic.

The health consequences of loneliness are often linked to the effects of smoking 15 cigarettes a day.

Thank You

A special thanks to Verse By Verse Fellowship for allowing us to set up a table several weekends in October to engage people who are interested in supporting this ministry financially and those who wish to serve as volunteers.

We are hoping to add 10 new supporters by the end of 2020 who will help financially support this work by donating $25 per month. Would you consider helping us to extend our services to lonely seniors?
